Return Policy
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Some products may not be eligible for return, such as software, opened or used items, and items that are damaged by the customer.
Timeframe for Returns
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return. After 30 days, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
Return Process
Bytescribe must be contacted via email to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and instructions for return. A request for an RMA should be emailed to returns@bytescribe.com and should include the order number, product, name of purchaser, date of purchase, and a brief description of the reason for the return. Bytescribe will reply with return instructions.
Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong product shipped or defective item). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, only partial refunds are granted (if applicable). This may include situations where the product is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at returns@bytescribe.com with your RMA request.
Non-Returnable Items
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. These include perishable goods, customized products, software licenses, and downloadable software. Additionally, any product that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted for return.
Restocking Fees
A restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied for returns that are not due to our error.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@bytescribe.com.
Return Shipping Address
Once you receive your RMA number and return instructions, you will be provided with the correct return shipping address to send your item.
