Navigating to Procedure Partners

  1. Click on Lists in the left-hand navigation menu
  2. From the dropdown, scroll to and select Procedure Partners

This opens the partner list view, where you can search, sort, and manage all linked organizations. You’ll see basic details such as name, lab director, and integration status for each partner.

Adding a New Procedure Partner

To register a new partner:

  1. Click the blue Add a Procedure Partner button (highlighted with a red arrow in the image above)
  2. A new entry window will open where you can input general and interface information

In the General tab, complete the following fields:

  • Partner Name – e.g., "Quest Diagnostics"
  • NPI – National Provider Identifier
  • Lab Director – Responsible physician or manager
  • Phone, Email, Address – Basic contact information
  • Fax, City, State, Zip, Country – For communication and service area documentation

In the Interface tab, you can enter optional connection details for electronic data integration:

  • API Credentials – If the lab supports a direct HL7 or FHIR connection
  • Endpoint URLs
  • Transmission Settings – e.g., Secure FTP, Web Services
  • Lab Interface Type – Select format such as HL7, ASTM, etc.
