    <h2>Starting an Encounter</h2>

Next you will be taken to a screen that displays a list in chronological order of all encounters associated with the patient. The newest encounters will populate at the bottom of this list.

    2. At the top of the screen select Appointments.
    3. Click on an existing appointment scheduled or create a new appointment for that patient.
    4. Click the Appointment and then click the Start Encounter button in the top menu bar.

    2. Click on an appointment and then click Start Encounter.

    1. Click on Patient > Encounters.
    2. Select Add New to create the new encounter.
    3. Enter information regarding the encounter then click Save.
    4. This method will create an encounter for a patient you are currently working with.
