Vehrdict offers a secure messaging system that streamlines communication between providers, staff, and patients. Through the Messages tab and the Patient Portal, patients can engage in direct communication with their healthcare team. Notifications of new messages are conveniently visible within Vehrdict's interface, ensuring that communication is both accessible and confidential.
Internal Messaging
In Vehrdict, you can securely message other providers, staff, and transcriptionists using the internal messaging system. These features are conveniently categorized in the sub-menus in the Messages tab.
Creating a Message
To send a message, go to Messages then click Compose Mail. Choose who you would like to send the message to, type your message, then click Send and the message will be delivered.
User Inbox
The User Inbox feature acts as a personal inbox for users, allowing providers and staff to receive and manage internal messages. It's a centralized location for all communication within the Vehrdict system specifically for the medical professional.
Patient Inbox
Here, communication from patients is collected. This dedicated inbox ensures that patient queries are not missed and can be addressed promptly, helping to maintain patient engagement and satisfaction.
Chat
The chat functionality lets a user quickly message with other users on the site in real time allowing for quick, effective, but breif, communication.
Reminders
The Reminders tab is instrumental in keeping track of interactions with patients. It logs the date and content of the last communication, enabling providers to follow up as necessary and maintain continuous care.
